Our mission is to celebrate the shared love for this refreshing drink, found in street corners from Mumbai to Saigon to Mexico City, and create a welcoming space where flavors connect people. A Love Story Rooted in Flavor and Family
This dream started with us—an Indian and Vietnamese couple brought together by our shared love of food and sugarcane juice. We met in Chicago, bonded over street food and late-night boba runs, and eventually made our way to Houston to be closer to family. With It’s Cane Time, we wanted to create more than a restaurant—we wanted a space where the tastes we grew up with could be relived, shared, and celebrated. Whether you’re missing the flavors of your childhood or discovering something new, we hope our menu brings a little joy and nostalgia to your day.

At It’s Cane Time, we know that behind every great restaurant is a strong support system—and ours comes from the heart of our family. We’re deeply grateful to my mom, whose recipes have turned into instant hits and form the foundation of what we serve. A special thanks to my dad for ensuring the authentic spices and raw ingredients from India were supplied to us in a timely manner, ensuring that every dish stays true to its roots. My sisters have also been incredible, not only offering creative content ideas but also sharing our story and spreading the word on their own social media, giving us the visibility we needed to thrive. Their love and support have been invaluable in turning this dream into reality.

We are also lucky to have my wife’s niece, who quickly became an essential part of our journey. With her support, fresh perspective, and hands-on help, she’s been there with us from day 1. More than just family, she’s a key part of our team, helping shape the heart and hustle behind the scenes. We’re grateful to have her with us as we grow, learn, and bring our vision to life.
